Caleta Baja

At the beach of “Caleta de Abajo” in the north west of the island very close to Sardina you will find one of the most spectacular dives on Gran Canaria, known as ‘Caleta Baja’. An easy dive though it requires planning as it depends on the time and how the sea is to enter or exit the water.

The great diversity of the underwater life surprises with its variety and quantity. Depending on the time of the year and state of the sea we can enjoy a dive full of sensations like the overwhelming dancing of the Mantas or being surprised by restless banks of Jacks. The big cave and “el rajón” are a must to visit. All of that in between big rock formations and huge sand banks where the Angel sharks or Rays are resting.
