The Roque Matavinos rises above the surface of the sea between El Confital and La Puntilla. It is an imposing block of volcanic stone surrounded by other large rocks that can also be seen above the surface. You can get to this diving spot either from land or by boat, and it is suitable for both snorkelling and scuba-diving.

Here the bottom of the sea is rather irregular, and apart from lively ornate wrasses, damselfish and parrotfish, it is also possible to discover the strange and colourful inhabitants of its shadowy caves and tunnels.

The underwater landscapes surrounding the Roque Matavinos are abrupt and complex: large walls, caves, tunnels and corridors make up an intricate environment where it is fun to play with our buoyancy and enjoy the chance to explore the bottom of the sea in this area, drifting up or down, high above the ground like birds.
