La Catedral

It is probably one of the most spectacular diving spots on account of its sheer beauty and unusual rock formations. A mere twenty minutes sailing away from the city’s marina, it is a rocky massif that drops from a depth of 6 to 40 metres. It evokes the shape of a cathedral, with skylights, tunnels, a vast arch and an enormous dome with four entrances. Its complexity is such that it would take several visits to explore it fully –and even then you’d never grow tired of going back to it.

Like colourful tapestries, all sorts of organisms cover the walls and ceilings of its caves. The interplay of light and shadows together with the grandeur of this natural structure make diving here an absolutely magic experience.
